3.8 Module 6 - Messaging
Busy Living is enabled for 4 types of messages:
(1) Residents messages (2) Site Staff messages (3) Repairs messages (4) Event marketing
Messaging is less formal than Event Marketing which is Module 9.
Messaging is more efficient than email for a number of reasons:
Messages:
can be more easily targeted to staff groups,
auto receipt,
can put tasks into workflow,
can time out, e.g.,” mum coming to collect keys tomorrow”,
protect individual email addresses to stop e-mail bombing
(sending emails to every email address a user gets hold of).
(1) Residents messages:
By default Busy Living messaging provides for messaging
Maintenance Engineers,
Housekeeping, and
Property Managers
More target groups can be created during set up.
(2) Site Staff user created messages:
These are used for
Parcel notifications
User created messages: these enable a small
thumbnail size image to be uploaded and a comment
and also encourages residents to share the message
using social media channels. We have pre-developed
about 30 humorous messages aimed at the 18-40 age
group.
33
