4.3.3 Compliance Menu 3 - Equipment log
This part of the app records the white goods (appliances) and
equipment such as water heaters and heat exchangers within each
property. Firstly it acts as an asset register to confirm the
appliance/equipment exists and it is optional to upload the make
and model and instruction manual or hyperlink to the instruction
manual.
For fittings such as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms the
installation date is a critical field. This is important as the usual
lifespan for detectors is 10 years and must not be missed, else a
detector fail you as Client would be exposed.
Extras such as that there is a burglar alarm and the code can also be
entered.
The equipment log pulls together all the information and the
dashboard reports headlines if missing, and clicks through to a
simple list so that you know which property is the problem.
Alternatively, even if nothing is missing you can click through the 0
and toggle the filter to see all LIVE properties.
All this information is fed through no matter what stage a deal is
at so that tenant questions can be answered by anyone easily,
